Polokwane - A man was shot in both legs in a road-rage incident
in Polokwane at the weekend.
Superintendent Patty Khumalo of Limpopo police said the
shooting took place in Maripathekong Ga-Molepo village late on Saturday
night when a taxi driver apparently accused a bakkie driver of driving
recklessly.
"After an exchange of words, the taxi driver pulled out
a firearm and shot towards the bakkie," said Khumalo.
A passenger in the bakkie, Rufus Sehlapelo, was hit in both
legs and the taxi driver drove off.
Sehlapelo was taken to Mankweng Hospital where he is in
a stable condition.
Police were still searching for the taxi driver, said Khumalo.
