Port Elizabeth - A 38-year-old man who allegedly shot and
killed two Pakistani men appeared in the King William's Town Magistrate's
Court on Wednesday.
Vukile Ndzima's case was postponed to November 7 and
he was warned to appear in court on that date, said Captain Thozama Solani.
Ndzima allegedly shot and killed Shoaid Muhammad 21, and
Toqeer Abbas 26, after they and a group of other men allegedly attacked
him outside their second hand goods shop on Monday.
He had returned a faulty radio to the shop which they refused
to refund or exchange.
"The owner allegedly threatened him and called his
friends, who started attacking him in front of onlookers outside the shop,
when he refused to leave.
"The suspect then drew his firearm and shot both men,"
said Solani.
Ndzima was arrested on the scene after he called the police
and waited for them to arrive to hand himself over.
Solani said Ndzima told police he had used his firearm in
self-defence.
